They cried in front of an abstract work... how is that possible?

I've had the privilege of witnessing this happen many times. And I love those moments.
It might make me uncomfortable, but it's actually quite the opposite. It confirms beyond any doubt why I do what I do: to create emotions.
When someone stands still for several minutes in front of one of my paintings, I know something special has just happened… an inexplicable connection. I say “inexplicable” because it is impossible to associate something you know or have already seen when looking at abstract art.
Everything happens at the subconscious level, because abstract art appeals to the intangible. A powerful energy that flows through the observer. A thrill. A memory. A release.
What we cannot see or name, but which we feel deeply.
When an abstract work moves us, it's not because we "understand" it. It's because it brings us back to something intimate. And that's where the magic happens.
In business, too, art creates this kind of connection.
Have you ever thought about adding a symbolic piece to your workspace? A piece that moves you, that creates positive emotions in you?
If you'd like to experience it with me, it's super simple... come visit my Stoneham gallery or contact me for a virtual meeting.
